- Gentle retouching of portraits. Removal of pimples, injuries…temporary blemishes. Also, a softening of wrinkles and sun damage.
- Heavier retouching. With no specific instructions, this would involve removal of any imperfections and wrinkles. Other possibilities include the changing of hair color or the enhancing of eye color or modification to skin tone.
- Cropping, straightening, lightening, darkening, color balancing, adding or removing someone or something from a photo. These require specific instructions.
- Restoration of old photographs. If you have old photographs that you want to preserve and share, that is another service that I provide.
How it works:
You provide me with the digital images and instructions for what you want me to do. I provide you with an estimate. You provide me with a deposit. Turn around time could be a few days or a few weeks depending on how much work is involved and how busy I am. At completion, you pay me the outstanding balance and I provide you with digital images.
If you are in Petaluma, we can do this in person and I will give a 10% cash discount.
For online customers, I use Dropbox and either Venmo or Paypal.

The first image is the original photo (already color balanced, cropped and framed.) The second is lightly retouched; the third is more heavily retouched. Even the heavily retouched one retains enough texture and detail so that it does not look retouched.
